FareShare are a UK charity, which redistributes surplus good-to-eat food from the food industry, which would otherwise go to waste.
IPL has been working with FareShare since 2011 to tackle hunger and food waste. We have taken specific measures to incorporate diverting surplus food to FareShare as part of our business as usual activities.
Our Packhouse teams identify edible food, that otherwise cannot be sold, to be diverted to FareShare so that they can deliver the items across UK communities.
IPL works with the award-winning social enterprise, Company Shop, to enable people to get value from surplus stock, which would have otherwise gone to waste.
Company Shop Group is the UK's leading redistributor of surplus food and household products.
Company Shop members are offered surplus products at lower prices, allowing IPL to support the priorities outlined in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the UK Courtauld 2025 Commitment.
